The Challenge
JOI GIFTS is the first and largest full-service online gift marketplace in the MENA region. It concocts the experience of gift-giving into unforgettable moments with the highest quality flowers, premium cakes and chocolates, balloons, gourmet gift baskets, unique personalized goods, and more.
While producing 3D models is already challenging, digitizing flowers and creating their true digital twins is an even harder process.
Having set this goal, JOI GIFTS was seeking a sophisticated technology that innovated a replica of flowers, allowing the visualization of all displayed items.
The brand aimed to create a distinctive user experience that allows online shoppers to virtually conceptualize items before checking out.
The Solution
To meet this challenge, Designhubz employed their automated robotic rigs to scan the flowers from JOI GIFTS. The flowers were
3D scanned using Designhubz’s Robotic Rigs to create true 3D digital twins of the physical products.
Once the 3D models were created, Designhubz’s Spatial AR technology was integrated into JOI GIFTS’ website and Android and iOS apps. As a result, users can now experience an enhanced try-before-they-buy experience and base their purchasing decisions on factors like exact size, fit, and style.
The Results
